About Dynamic Family Chiropractic

Dynamic Family Chiropractic is an inviting and invigorating chiropractic office located in the heart of Erie, Pennsylvania.  When walking in you are greeted by Dr. Angela Durkin in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We offer safe and complete chiropractic healthcare for all individuals, including prenatal,  postnatal and pediatric care in Erie County and surrounding communities.  The paperwork is thorough but not extensive and the quality time spent with the doctor is much more valuable. We want to give you the trust and care to continue the wellness journey you are on now and for the healthy future!

Dr. Angela works alongside other healthcare professionals to support and advocate for your healthcare. Dynamic Family Chiropractic cares deeply about the well-being of every patient, which is why the practice focuses on salutogenesis- the study of the origins of health.

Although DFC will address the needs of all individuals, this female-owned office sets itself apart by using the Webster Technique -- a specialized analysis and gentle adjustment of the sacrum to correct the improper biomechanics of pregnant women (learn more about it below.)  Dr. Durkin offers soft tissue relief therapies and gentle spinal manipulation to rid the nervous system of any interferences, allowing the body to perform at optimal function.  With the extra certifications through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association and the  knowledge of Dr. Durkin in this area of chiropractic care, in addition to being a mother herself, she will meet an underserved need in the Erie County and the surrounding tri-state area.

The Webster Technique

The Webster Technique defined by the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association is “a specific chiropractic analysis and diversified adjustment.  The goal of the adjustment is to reduce the effects of sacral subluxation and sacroiliac joint dysfunction.  In doing so, the neuro-biomechanical function in the pelvis is improved.”

The Webster Technique is utilized throughout pregnancy as a safe means to restore proper pelvic balance  and function.  This technique is defined as a specific chiropractic analysis and gentle adjustment of the sacrum that decreases low back pain and pelvic pain, and allows for a faster, safer, and easier labor and delivery.  To learn more about the Webster Technique and to find a Webster Certified doctor in your area, please visit www.ICPA4kids.org.
